Cut off
counterfeit sales channels

01Situation

An automotive client was losing revenue and control over the brand: unauthorized sellers traded both in retail and online, and buyers often could not tell legitimate goods from a fake.

Piecemeal measures did not work — offenders simply flowed from offline to online and back, staying one step ahead of scattered actions.

02Our approach

  • Retail surveillance and test purchases to record the violations.
  • Warehouse inspections and raids on offline points of sale.
  • Digital measures: blocking links and resources, working with marketplaces and platforms.

“An offender always moves to where no one is chasing them. That's why the pressure must be simultaneous — both in retail and online.”

03Result

Unauthorized sellers and resources were squeezed out, and counterfeit sales channels were cut off both online and offline at the same time.

The client regained control over distribution and restored buyers' trust in the official sales channel.
